CANCER TREATMENT

During cancer treatment, eating can be one of the hardest parts.

Chemotherapy, radiation and other treatments can cause nausea, taste changes, mouth sores, tiredness and loss of appetite. Many people lose weight without meaning to, and oncology teams often suggest small, frequent meals and finding foods that go down easily. On treatment days, even opening an app can be too much.

01

Some days you can barely eat.

How Miya helps

One tap notes that you ate or drank some, could not today, or need help. Some is enough to note.

02

It is hard to remember what went down okay.

How Miya helps

Mark "This one worked" and tag it cold, smooth, soft, salty or sweet. Those foods are kept for you and your dietitian.

03

Side effects affect eating.

How Miya helps

How you feel sits right next to food, so nausea or mouth pain can be seen alongside what you managed.

04

Some people are fed by tube or IV.

How Miya helps

Tube or IV feeds have their own simple note.

05

Low-energy days need less on the screen.

How Miya helps

On low days the log page shows only the big one-tap answers. Someone helping you can note things on your behalf.

Treatment, diet and supplement advice comes from your oncology team. Miya has no food amounts, streaks or scores, and anything serious shows your team’s plan and how to reach them.

HOW IT WORKS

Three small steps, all optional.

01

Tap what happened

Some, not today, or I need help.

02

Remember what helped

Only if you have the energy.

03

Rest

There is nothing to complete. Come back whenever.

PRIVACY

Your notes are yours.

You choose who sees it

Nothing goes to a care team unless you connect to a participating program. Once you connect, they can see what you log in the app, and you can stop sharing at any time.

Your photos live on your phone

Meal photos are kept on your device. If you use food naming, a copy is sent to our AI provider to name the food, and we don't keep it. You can delete your account and data at any time.

No ads, no selling data

We do not sell your data or show ads. Read exactly what we collect in our policies.

FAQ

Good questions.

No. On iPhone, Miya is a program inside Pippa Companions. Download Pippa Companions, open it and pick Miya. On Android, Miya is its own app on Google Play.

Does Miya give treatment or diet advice?

No. Miya does not give cancer treatment, food, fasting, or supplement advice. Follow the instructions from your oncology team.

Does my care team see everything?

Only once you connect to a participating program. After that they can see what you log in the app, and you can stop sharing at any time. Nothing is watched in real time.

Is this an emergency service?

No. The app does not monitor your notes in real time. If you need urgent help, call 911 or your local emergency number.

What does it cost?

The app is free to download, and logging, asking for help, your care team and your history never cost anything. An optional Pro subscription adds extras, like more looks for your companion. On iPhone, one Pippa Companions Pro subscription covers every program.
